For those of you out there not wanting to be bothered by a client application alerting you at all hours about your work e-mail, or with a T-Mobile G1 (like me), you're in luck! iPhOwa development has started back up, and its not just for the iPhone any more.
iPhOwa looks great on the T-Mobile G1, and soon (with a little help) will look great on other devices as well. I've revived the project with a minor addition allowing for OWA setups where the user name does not match the users e-mail folder on OWA. A new text box is available via a web.config setting which will allow the user to enter an e-mail address that can be used for resolving the OWA user folder. Look for a full release in the near future.

The Future of iPhOwa
I am very excited about Steve Jobs' announcement yesterday that full ActiveSync support will be coming to the iPhone. iPhOwa was always intended as a temporary solution. I may release some minor bug fixes until version 2.0 of the iPhone software is released, but there will no longer be any major iPhOwa development.

Feature Requests
I feel like iPhOwa has become a fairly robust application at this stage. Many of the major OWA features have been implemented, however, there are plenty more feature yet to build. At this point I'd like to get a feel for what the users want most so I can prioritize new features. So please, leave a note in the comments letting me know what you would like to see added.
